Today, I wanted to write about the latest Comme des Garçons Show for the F/W 2010 Collections, even though maybe is a little bit late to write about this, I wanted to dedicate this post to one of my favorite shows of this season.

In this collection, Rei Kawakubo showed a great contrast of colors and shapes, in a very different range of outfits.

First, there were these pretty coats, in a skin color with this kind of silk brocade on the chest, with a pair of shorts and leggings with same color, and then a pair of dark grey shorts and black men-like shoes.

Then, these beautiful pieces. The first photograph shows a cut along trench coat with a red poncho and brocade pants. In the second one, there is an extra big checkerboard coat in camel and kind of like a cream color, with a very strange but lovely shape that makes the bottom of the coat a little bit higher on the front, and finally a camel trench coat that is cut by the sides with another brown wool poncho.

And finally this wonderful dress (proclaimed as a best seller by Vogue Italia), with a military green t-shirt and beautiful and tight organza dress almost transparent at the top, and a military grey poncho with a cute drawing on it and a pair of jodhpur pants.

I really love this show because of the beautiful and limited palette of grey, black and skin colors, the layered outfits, the wonderful and maybe kind of retro shapes.

Also, take notice of the beautiful shoes with their own toes, I want a pair for me.
